Who we are
Identifying and solving soil mechanics problems
Zemin Araştırma Merkezi is a geotechnical company that works on every ground-related stage of a structure, from site investigation and deep foundation and excavation support works to ground improvement and field testing.
We treat every project within its own ground conditions and combine theoretical calculations with real data obtained on site. Our aim is to verify design assumptions in the field and create a safe and economical foundation system for the structure.
We also have many years of experience in groundwater exploration and water well drilling.

Zemin Araştırma Merkezi Ltd. Şti. has been working from Istanbul since 2001 on deep foundation systems, excavation support and the identification and solution of soil mechanics problems.
What services do you provide?
We carry out bored piles, jet grouting, deep soil mixing (DSM), micro piles and anchors, shotcrete and stone columns; site investigation with pressuremeter, SPT, seismic MASW and microtremor; and field tests such as static pile load tests, pile integrity (PIT and CSL), inclinometer and tiltmeter monitoring. We also have experience in groundwater exploration and water well drilling.
Have you worked outside Turkey?
Yes. We have worked at the Port of Poti in Georgia (Black Sea Terminal Co. / Sokar Group site), carried out jet grouting at the Aleppo Citadel in Syria and bored pile works at the Port of Douala in Cameroon.
Which standards do you test to?
Our testing and reporting follow Turkish Standards (TS) and international references such as ASTM.
Do you have your own laboratory?
Field tests are carried out with our own team and equipment. Laboratory tests are carried out in accredited laboratories, and the results are reported together with the field tests.
